The utility model discloses an exhaust hood type microwave oven and an air duct system thereof. The exhaust hood type microwave oven comprises a shell and a baffle plate, wherein a cooking chamber and an exhaust passage are arranged in the shell; the exhaust passage is provided with an inlet and an outlet; the inlet of the exhaust passage is formed in a bottom plate of the shell; the baffle plate is arranged below the bottom plate and is opposite to the bottom plate; the baffle plate is separated from the bottom plate so as to form a fume collection cavity between the baffle plate and the bottom plate. The exhaust hood type microwave oven has the advantages of good exhaust effect and improved integral attractive appearance.
