A solid-state imaging device is characterized in that pixel sections (10an1, 10an2) each having a photoelectric conversion element (PD) for converting incident light into electric charge and a voltage conversionamplifying transistor (Q13a) for converting the electric charge accumulated in the photoelectric conversion element (PD) into a voltage and outputting the voltage are arranged linearly or two-dimensionally, a voltage level detecting circuit (50) fordetecting the pixel output voltage outputted to a common column signal line (Ln) from the pixel sections and a column signal processing circuit(80) forreceiving a logical output voltage of the voltage level detecting circuit(50) and the pixel output voltage and outputting a voltage to a horizontal output circuit (90) are provided, and the column signal processing circuit (80) outputs a voltage corresponding to the pixel output voltage according to the logic output voltage or outputs a fixed voltage.
