A method and apparatus for calibrating a collimator, which relate to the field of medical equipment. The method comprises: when a collimator (302) is moved to M positions, respectively obtaining ray projection images after sequentially passing through a collimation hole on the collimator (302) and an isocenter plane (S401); according to the ray projection images, determining a target position among the M positions to maximize the degree of alignment of the collimator (302) (S402); and recording position parameters corresponding to the target position, so that the collimator (302) is controlled to move to the target position when a gamma knife device is used for treatment (S403). Thus, the position of the collimator (302) of the gamma knife device may be calibrated.
