The model comprises a functional module display body and a simulated rainfall system, wherein the functional module display body comprises a C30 pervious concrete surface layer, a C30 pervious concrete bottom layer, a coarse sand leveling layer, a graded broken stone layer, a C30 plain concrete cushion layer, a lime soil cushion layer and a packed soil layer; C30 pervious concrete bottom layer water storage holes, coarse sand leveling layer water storage holes, graded broken stone layer water storage holes, C30 plain concrete cushion layer water storage holes, lime soil cushion layer water storage holes and pump pits are sequentially connected and jointly formed into a water storage cavity. A sponge roadmodel is built to demonstrate the working condition of a sponge road during infiltration of rainwater, and thus the problem that an existing display mode is not intuitive and difficult to understand the phenomenon is solved.
