The invention relates to a battery pack abuse test device and a battery pack abuse test room. The device comprises an explosion-proof box, a water tank, a bracket and a lifting mechanism. A box door is arranged on one side of the explosion-proof box. During a test, the lifting mechanism positions the bracket and a tested battery pack above the water tank. When the battery burns or explodes in an abuse experiment, the lifting mechanism controls the bracket and the tested battery pack to quickly fall into the water tank, the combustion and explosion of the battery pack are prevented or slowed down, a camera and an illuminating lamp are arranged in the explosion-proof box, and the camera, the illuminating lamp, the tested battery pack and the lifting mechanism in the explosion-proof box are electrically connected with a control device of a control room through cables. According to the battery pack abuse test device, the combustion and explosion of the battery pack outside the water tank in the explosion-proof box can be prevented, and the service lives of the explosion-proof box, the camera, the illuminating lamp, the lifting mechanism and the control device are prolonged, and the test cost is greatly reduced.
