The method comprises the following steps of acquiring various information data of each wave recording device in real time; centrallystoring the acquired various wave recording information data in a data server and performing unified classification management; detecting and analyzing a communication connection fault between a waverecording private network in an area II and an enterprise office network in an area III, analyzing a communication abnormality reason, and monitoring an abnormal clock signal of a fault wave recordingdevice; carrying out classified statistics on on-off abnormal standing book report output, access rate and online rate of all regions and an individual region and providing data support for other units; performing fault waveform analysis model editing and fault single-end and double-end distance measurement analysis; and publishing or displaying related recording statistics and analysis information according to a request of a user. According to the invention, power grid fault information can be accurately mastered, and the fault processing speed and the accident analysis level are improved.
