The invention relates to a matching method of a variable frequency starting system, an excitation system and a monitoring system, which comprises the steps that S1, the monitoring system sends a unitstarting command, sends a starting command to an SFC system, and sends an excitation SFC mode command to an excitation control system; S2, the monitoring system receives feedback that an auxiliary machine of the SFC system is started, an SFC switch is switched on and feedback of an SFC mode of the excitation system, and then feeds back the starting of the SFC mode of the excitation control systemto the SFC system; S3, an excitation current set value is sent to the excitation system according to the excitation current feedback, and the unit is dragged; S4, when the rotating speed of the unit of the monitoring system is greater than 95% and the rotating speed of the SFC is greater than 99% at the same time, a synchronous device starting command is sent, and the voltage and frequency of theunit are adjusted until an outlet switch of the unit is switched on; and S5, the monitoring system sends an SFC stop command to the excitation control system to realize an automatic voltage regulationmode, and the directional starting of the unit motor is completed. According to the invention, the electric working condition grid connection of the pumped storage unit in the SFC mode is achieved bycombining the variable frequency starting system, the excitation system and the monitoring system.
