The present invention discloses a method for strengthening purification of zinc sulfate solution by microwave heating of zinc powder. The method includes the steps: blowing and atomizing zinc powder into a microwave device; heating the zinc powder; and feeding prepared high-temperature zinc powder into the zinc sulfate solution and carrying out ultrasonic purification to remove metal impurities such as copper, cadmium, cobalt and nickel in the zinc sulfate solution so as to prepare qualified zinc sulfate solution. By using the method for purifying the zinc sulfate solution, the solid-liquid mass and heat transfer process between the zinc powder and the solution is effectively optimized, so that it is ensured that the reaction interface temperature is higher than the solution temperature, the reaction mechanical process is promoted, and the surface of zinc powder particles is updated; and besides, the thermodynamic conditions of the reaction interface are ensured, and the impact on thereplacement reaction due to the fact that organic matter/hydroxide wraps zinc powder to hinder electron transfer is eliminated, so that the impurities are efficiently removed, the zinc powder consumption is effectively reduced, the replacement reaction time is shortened, and the economic and environmental benefits are comprehensively achieved.
