The invention discloses a dication modified asphalt emulsifier and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of road engineering. The dication modified asphalt emulsifier is formed by mixing stearamide propyl dimethylamine, octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, polyethylene glycol and the like, and the weight ratio of stearamide propyl dimethylamine to octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride to polyethylene glycol is (10-40): (20-40): (30-50). Compared with the prior art, the dication modified asphalt emulsifier and the preparation method thereof have the characteristics of strongemulsifying capacity, high stability, low cost and the like, and have good popularization and application values.
