The invention discloses a vehicle position determination algorithm. According to the method, a community relationship in the Internet of Vehicles is utilized; and the positions of the vehicles with the same or similar driving destinations and weak GPS signals within a certain distance range of the vehicles with the strong GPS signals are calculated by using the real-time positions of the vehicleswith the strong GPS signals, the relationship among the communities, the communication capability among the vehicle nodes and the neighbor position relationship. Compared with an existing urban Internet of Vehicles positioning method, the method has lower positioning errors, particularly has excellent performance in some viaducts, underground garages and other GPS signal weak positions, and has higher positioning result stability under different traffic conditions.
