The invention discloses a thixotropic mixture containing a nonionic polyurethane compound and a waterborne leather surface treatment coating comprising the thixotropic mixture. The waterborne leathersurface treatment coating can effectively improve anti-settling performance of the waterborne leather surface treatment coating and effectively improve blackness and surface flatness of a base material treated by the waterborne leather surface treatment coating. The thixotropic mixture containing the nonionic polyurethane compound comprises a polymer prepared from diisocyanate, polyethylene glycoland polyol/C12-C22 fatty alcohol as well as aids. The waterborne leather surface treatment has excellent anti-settling performance and excellent constructability, the base material treated by the coating has good gloss showing property and blackness, and a preparation method and an application method are simple and easy to operate.
