The invention discloses a dynamic control method for additional high-voltage side bus voltage of a high-capacity phase modifier. The method comprises steps of sending the deviation deltaVh between thebus voltage given value Vhref and the measured value Vh to an additional high-voltage side bus voltage dynamic control link; and calculating to obtain an output value Uc, superposing the Uc to the input end of the phase modifier excitation regulator AVR to influence the excitation voltage and the excitation current in the transient dynamic process after the power grid is disturbed, and not superposing the Uc to the input end of the excitation regulator AVR any more after the transient dynamic process is finished. According to the dynamic control method, the output of the phase modifier excitation system can be increased in the disturbed transient dynamic process of the power grid system, the reactive potential of the phase modifier is further exerted, and more reactive support is providedfor the power grid system.
