The invention discloses an industrial user energy storage construction research and judgment method based on a K-Means clustering algorithm. The industrial user energy storage construction research and judgment method comprises the following steps: constructing an industrial user electrical load type judgment model based on the K-Means clustering algorithm; calculating the required energy storagecapacity according to the typical load curve of the user; and calculating the potential value of the user, and comprehensively analyzing whether the user is suitable for energy storage construction ornot in combination with the rated capacity, the electrical load and the energy storage capacity of the transformer. According to the industrial user type judgment model adopted by the invention, a typical load curve of a user can be obtained through historical power consumption data of the user; the power consumption type (one charging and one discharging, one charging and two discharging, two charging and two discharging and the like) of the user can be obtained by analyzing the typical load curve; and whether the user is suitable for installing the energy storage equipment or not and the required energy storage capacity are quickly analyzed and calculated by combining factors such as transformer capacity and peak-valley difference, so that the industrial user is helped to make a decision, and the cost is reduced.
