The invention relates to a preparation method of a yarn-based colorimetric sensor, and belongs to the field of composite materials. In the method, yarns are used as a liquid conveying channel and a chemical reactor, a detection area is formed by embroidering cotton fabrics, the detection area is packaged by using a flexible membrane with good biocompatibility, and the to-be-detected enters the detection area and performs color display by utilizing the yarns, thereby detection substance and determining content of the to-be-detected liquid. The equipment prepared by the invention is expected toprovide cheap, rapid, portable and reliable biomass detection, and expected to produce personal instant diagnosis device especially under the resource shortage environment, and the preparation methodhas extensive development space in the composite material field.
