The invention relates to a sunscreen cream containing benzophenone derivative nanocrystals. The sunscreen cream is prepared by the following steps: dispersing benzophenone derivative nanocrystals in an aqueous phase to form a benzophenone derivative nanocrystal suspension, and emulsifying the benzophenone derivative nanocrystal suspension with an oil phase, wherein the benzophenone derivative comprises hydroxybenzophenone and dihydroxybenzophenone. According to the invention, the benzophenone derivative is prepared into the nanocrystal suspension; due to accumulation of crystals, molecules inthe crystals are different from molecules in a solution in environment, thereby a gradual process in energy dissipation circulation is faster than in a solution, and the ultraviolet absorption efficiency of the benzophenone derivative nanocrystal suspension is better; and the benzophenone derivative nanocrystal suspension is added into the sunscreen cream, so that the sunscreen cream has better sunscreen performance, efficiency and stability.
