The invention discloses a popular attribution recognition method, device and equipment for a picture. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a to-be-identified picture; extracting feature information of the to-be-identified picture based on a popular region detection model, and performing popular region detection by using the feature information to obtain a reference popular region picture inthe to-be-identified picture; obtaining a global popular area picture from the to-be-identified picture based on the reference popular area picture; and based on a popular attribution recognition model, extracting popular feature information of the reference popular region picture and the global popular region picture, and performing popular attribution recognition by using the popular feature information to determine a popular attribution of the picture to be identified. By utilizing the technical scheme provided by the invention, the popular attribution of the picture can be accurately identified.
