The invention relates to a liquid viscosity damper with an impact resisting ability. The liquid viscosity damper comprises a sealing part and a damper body, wherein the sealing part comprises a buffering pad and a metal sealing ring. The buffering pad is attached to one side of the metal sealing ring. The damper body comprises a sealing cylinder body and a protecting cylinder body. A first sealingpart and a second sealing part are arranged in the sealing cylinder body in the length direction of the sealing cylinder body. A piston head is arranged between the first sealing part and the secondsealing part. A piston rod is connected to the piston head. The piston head is connected into the sealing cylinder body in a sliding manner. The end, provided with the first sealing part, of the sealing cylinder body is sleeved with the protecting cylinder body in a sliding manner, and the sealing part is arranged on the inner side of the end portion. The metal sealing ring is matched with the endportion of the sealing cylinder body in size. The buffering pad is attached to the inner end wall of the sealing cylinder body. One end of the piston rod sequentially penetrates through the first sealing part, the sealing part and the end portion of the sealing cylinder body and extends to be connected into the protecting cylinder body, and the other end of the piston rod penetrates through the second sealing part. A damping medium is arranged in the sealing cylinder body. The damper is simple in structure, convenient to use and good in effect.
