The invention discloses a synchronous detection method for burst broadband communication. The synchronous detection method comprises the following steps: detecting the arrival state of a data frame ina burst communication signal in a channel; when the arrival state is that the data frame arrives, removing useless signals, wherein the useless signals comprise signals before the arrival time of thedata frame; reserving a useful signal, wherein the useful signal comprises a data frame arrival time and a signal after the data frame arrival time; and detecting the synchronization state of the synchronization word in the data frame of the useful signal and the synchronization word in the local data frame. The invention also provides a synchronous detection device for burst broadband communication. The synchronous detection device comprises a frame synchronous detection module; a signal processing module; and a bit synchronization detection module.
