The invention discloses a curly-type electronic nameplate, which comprises a sleeve, a control rod arranged in the sleeve and a curly screen arranged in the control rod. The electronic nameplate is characterized in that the upper end of the sleeve is fixedly arranged in a nameplate hole reserved in a conference table; the control rod is provided with a control assembly and a rotating reel. The electronic nameplate further comprises: a rotating scroll used for winding the curled screen; a connecting rod comprising a transverse rod and a longitudinal rod, wherein the transverse rod ascends or descends along with the control rod, so that during use, the longitudinal rod penetrates through a positioning hole formed in the conference table to be exposed out of the conference table top; and a lock catch which is connected with the other side of the curly screen and is buckled with the longitudinal rod of the connecting rod when the curly screen is unfolded so as to position and fix the curlyscreen. The invention further discloses a corresponding method. By means of the curly-type electronic nameplate, the related nameplate content can be efficiently displayed through face recognition, and the space occupied by the desktop is saved by adopting the curly screen design.
