The invention discloses a multi-rate and multi-mode joint simulation method for a large-scale wind power plant. For the multi-rate and multi-mode joint simulation method, a frequency phase shift quantity model based on time-frequency coordinate transformation increases the simulation speed of an alternating current network by adopting a larger simulation step length. The simulation efficiency of alarge-scale alternating-current power grid is remarkably improved, and meanwhile, the electromagnetic transient process, the nonlinear dynamic state of a generator and the frequency-dependent dynamicstate of a transmission line can still be reserved. And on the other hand, the wind power plant is contained in the electromagnetic subsystem by using a smaller time step length (usually as small as2-50 microseconds), and the detailed dynamic process of the wind power plant can be captured through an electromagnetic transient model of the wind power plant. The invention provides a multi-rate phase domain-time domain transmission line model or a multi-rate phase domain-time domain frequency correlation transmission line model to reflect the broadband interaction of a large-scale alternating current system and a large-scale wind power plant.
