The method comprises the steps that preset parameters are collectedand obtained; according to the preset parameters and a multi-circuit line distance measurement model, a multi-circuit line distance measurement result is obtained through calculation; according to the preset parameters, the multi-circuit line distance measurement result and a self-adaptive calculation model, distance protection II-section action time and final distance protection III-section action time are obtained through calculation; according to the preset parameters and an overline fault auxiliary criterion model, final distance protection II-section action time is determined; and according to the final distance protection II-section action time and the final distance protection III-section action time, matching of adjacent protection action time limits is realized when the same-tower double-circuit line has an overline fault or a single fault.
