The invention discloses a hatch cover starting type switch of a data leakage prevention self-destruction circuit. The hatch cover starting type switch solves the problem of how to enable the self-destruction circuit of an underwater detector to be safely installed and reliably started. A data destruction execution circuit is arranged in a closed cabin body; a normally open travel switch (12) and anormally closed travel switch (13) are connected in series in the data destruction execution circuit; a travel switch mounting bracket block (3) is arranged on an annular ring seam allowance (2) on the inner side of the hatch cover; travel switch telescopic operation rod penetrating through holes are formed in the travel switch mounting bracket blocks (3) in the radial direction of the hatch cover, spring piece embedding limiting grooves (7) are formed in the inner side walls of the normally-open travel switch telescopic operation rod penetrating through holes (4), and swing arm type spring pieces (8) are arranged on normally-open travel switch telescopic operation rods (5). It is guaranteed that the self-destruction circuit is safe and cannot be started in the installation and debuggingprocess.
