The invention discloses an automobile engine decorative cover and a noise testing method thereof. The automobile engine decorative cover comprises a decorative cover body; the decorative cover body comprises an outer surface layer, an inner surface layer and a middle layer positioned between the outer surface layer and the inner surface layer; the outer surface layer is a hard crust, the inner surface layer is a soft crust, and the middle layer is a perforated soft foam material layer; and pinholes are formed in the inner surface layer. Better sound absorption and noise reduction effects are achieved.
