The invention discloses a system and method for controlling and managing a tool library of a distribution network live working robot. The system for controlling and managing the tool library of the distribution network live working robot mainly comprises a control management end, a plurality of working tool ends and a main controller which is arranged on the distribution network live working robot; the main controller controls and manages the working tool ends through the control management end; the input end of the control management end is connected with the main controller, and the output end of the control management end controls and manages the plurality of working tool ends in a wireless communication mode; the working tool ends are used for controlling tools to execute the corresponding functions and monitoring the states of the tools; and the method for controlling and managing the tool library of the distribution network live working robot comprises the steps of wirelessly controlling, monitoring and managing the plurality of tools by the control management end. According to the system and the method, the management of the tool library is realized; and by means of the system, the complete electrical isolation between the working tools and a robot body is achieved, the safety factor is improved, the working efficiency is improved and the manual management cost is reduced.
