The invention provides a multi-fault-point optical cable positioning method, a multi-fault-point optical cable positioning device and terminal equipment. The method is applied to the technical field of fault detection, and comprises the steps: obtaining the position information of user fault points, determining a plurality of fault optical cables corresponding to each user fault point according tothe position information of the user fault points and pre-stored optical cable line data, and obtaining an initial fault optical cable set; recombining the initial faulty optical cable set based on apreset combination rule to obtain a plurality of candidate faulty optical cable sets; and screening the plurality of candidate faulty optical cable sets based on OTDR detection to obtain a target faulty optical cable set, the target faulty optical cable set comprising optical cable identifiers and position information of a plurality of target faulty optical cables. According to the multi-fault-point optical cable positioning method and device and the terminal equipment provided by the invention, rapid positioning of the optical cables of multiple fault points can be realized.
