The invention discloses a multi-source coordinated peak shaving potential calculation model for an EHV (extra-high voltage) AC-DC sending end power grid in the technical field of AC-DC power system dispatching operation. The model comprises the steps: calculating the peak regulation potential of a DC matching power supply; calculating the peak shaving potential of a multi-source coordinated powersupply; calculating the peak shaving potential of a deep transformation power supply; calculating load side peak shaving potential; accumulating the peak shaving potentials, then considering the standby capacity, and calculating the up-regulation peak potential of a system; and calculating the down-regulation peak potential of the system. According to the invention, the guidance is provided for anAC/DC power system in actual operation.
