The invention relates to a cushioning and energy absorbing orientable collision mat. The bottom of the collision mat is a guiderail assembly; a plurality of rectangular support frames are arranged above the guiderail assembly; the support frames are upright and are longitudinally and sequentially arranged in parallel, and the bottoms of the support frames are matched with the guiderail assembly torealize longitudinal sliding; elastic-plastic energy dissipation elements are arranged adjacent support frames; the front and rear ends of the elastic-plastic energy dissipation elements are connected with the support frames; a nanofluid energy dissipation nose head is arranged in front of the most front support frame; and the front end of the nanofluid energy dissipation nose head is arc-shaped.The collision mat dissipates relatively large energy through the manners of compressive energy dissipation, orientation and interception, thereby reducing the collision force and providing safety guarantee for the dangerous points such as triangular ends, ramps, toll stations and the like.
