The invention discloses a sewing material boundary identification method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The method includes: obtaining a first image and a second image, subtracting pixel values of each pair of corresponding pixel points of the first image and the second image to obtain a pixel difference value; classifying corresponding pixel points of which the pixel difference values do not exceed a set threshold value into a first region; classifying the corresponding pixel points with the pixel difference values exceeding the set threshold value into the second area, taking the boundary of the first area and the second area as the boundary of the second sewing material. The boundary of the second sewing material can be automatically recognized, and therefore thegeneration efficiency of complex sewing patterns is greatly improved, and the requirement for large-scale automatic industrial production is met.
