The invention discloses a document processing method. The document processing method comprises the following steps of S1, an operator importing a template subjected to format standardization processing; S2, operating an existing document, and triggering a typesetting function; S3, copying the template and establishing a new document; S4, extracting text information of the existing document, classifying the text information, and inputting each type of text information into a region of a corresponding type of the new document according to the type of the text information; and S5, performing format processing on the new document to obtain a finally processed document. By adopting an existing template and a series of processes, an operator only needs to trigger a typesetting function, and theremaining related typesetting processes can be automatically completed, so that the working efficiency of document management personnel is greatly improved.
