The invention discloses a photovoltaic power station generation unit with an improved tracking device and relates to the technical field of photovoltaic power generation. A floating support rod and aball groove are arranged to form a ball joint to support a photovoltaic panel. The angle of the light receiving side of the photovoltaic panel can be adjusted by stretching or retracting the floatingsupport rod in order that the photovoltaic panel rightly faces the sunlight, thereby increasing power generation efficiency.
