The invention relates to a rapid preparation method of La2O3 modified B4C ceramic blocks, and belongs to the field of armoring protection material preparation. The preparation method comprises following steps: B4C, Ti3SiC2, Si, and La2O3 powder are subjected to ball milling uniform mixing, a spark plasma sintering system is adopted for sintering so as to obtain the ceramic blocks. In the step of spark plasma sintering, an adopted electric field is capable of cleaning and activating the particle surfaces of the obtained mixed powder in sintering process, so that mixed powder densification is carried out at a relatively low sintering temperature, sintering time is shortened greatly, the density of the B4C ceramic blocks obtained through sintering is as high as 99.9%, a second phase is generated, the comprehensive mechanical performance is excellent, the bending strength is as high as 508.6MPa, and the La2O3 modified B4C ceramic blocks can be used in the field of protective materials.
