This layered nonwoven cloth (10) has a layered structure (13) of fiber layers that include thermoplastic fibers. The layered structure (13) comprises a first surface (10a) that is one surface of the layered nonwoven cloth (10) and a second surface (10b) that is the other surface, the first surface (10a) comprising a first hydrophobic layer (11), and a second hydrophilic layer (12) being disposed on the second surface (10b) side of the first layer (11). The layered structure (13) has an inter-layer fusion part (16) that is thinner than the peripheral parts, the layers constituting the layered structure (13) being fused together in the inter-layer fusion part (16). The first layer (11) has, in addition to the inter-layer fusion part (16), an inter-fiber fusion part (17) that is thinner thanthe peripheral parts, the fibers constituting the first layer (11) being fused together in the inter-fiber fusion part (17). The first surface (10a) has a fusion-part area that is larger than the second surface (10a). The layered nonwoven cloth (10) configured in this manner has superior ability to absorb liquids such as sweat and urine.
