The lifting appliance comprises a carrying pole beam, a supporting rod, a transverse limiting device, a longitudinal limiting device, a lifting lug and a lifting belt. The carrying pole beam and the supporting rod are welded into a frame structure, the transverse limiting device is welded on a portal crane main beam, the longitudinal limiting device is welded on the carrying pole beam, the lifting lug is welded on the carrying pole beam, and the whole lifting appliance is connected with the portal crane main beam through the lifting belt. Compared with various lifting modes of the portal crane, the lifting appliance special for lifting the portal crane is designed, and can be suitable for lifting the large-scale portal crane under various conditions. Meanwhile, the portal crane is lifted through the lifting appliance, and can be lifted by adjusting a corresponding limiting position according to a span during use directly, the lifting appliance is directly disassembled after the lifting is completed, the dismounting and the lifting of the portal crane are facilitated, the portal crane cannot be damaged, and labor is not consumed a lot.
