The invention discloses a video target tracking method based on combination of motion interpolation estimation and foreground segmentation. The method comprises estimating intermediate information generated by interpolation by using motion; combined with segmentation of foreground and background, the advantages are complementary, the foreground and background segmentation is utilized to reduce theinterference of the background on the target model while sufficient intermediate frames are generated, the two aspects act together, the advantages are complementary, the adaptive capacity of the model to deal with the quick change target is improved, and the robustness of the model to deal with the interference such as shielding is improved. Therefore, the target tracking work is more accurate,and the target tracking accuracy is improved.
