The invention relates to a method for judging and processing the operation rate of a substation based on the communication status of secondary equipment, wherein the substation is connected with a substation operation monitoring system and secondary equipment. The method comprises the steps that (1) the substation acquires the operation rate of the secondary equipment according to the network connection status of the substation operation monitoring system and the secondary equipment; and (2) the operation status of the substation is obtained according to the operation rate of the secondary equipment communication. By adopting the method for judging and processing the operation rate of the substation based on the communication status of the secondary equipment, the controllability of operation monitoring data of the substation is realized, the quantitative measurement of the operation data of the substation is definite, and the operation status of the substation is judged through analyzing the communication status statistics of the secondary equipment under the substation; and the real-time monitoring for the operation status of the substation is realized, the working efficiency ofsubstation operation and maintenance is improved, and an effective guarantee and basis is provided for realizing the maintenance of the substation.
