The invention relates to a production method and device for H2/CO raw material gas, and in particular relates to a method for preparing the raw material gas for synthesizing ethylene glycol from blastfurnace gas and converter gas. The method adopts the following treatment processes: dry desulfurization is performed, the residual material is subjected to a shift reaction to prepare hydrogen gas, carbon dioxide is removed by using a pressure swing adsorption separation method, carbon monoxide and nitrogen gas are separated and flow dividing is performed by using an adsorbent and a pressure swing adsorption method, nitrogen is removed while hydrogen gas is prepared by using the pressure swing adsorption method, and hydrogen gas and oxygen gas in the residual material are removed by a catalytic reaction method; and finally the carbon monoxide and the hydrogen gas are respectively sent to one corresponding gas utilization device, wherein a certain degree of gas pressurization and the likeare performed; therefore, the purpose of using the blast furnace gas to prepare the required raw material gas for the ethylene glycol can be achieved. The method and device provided by the invention have the advantages of energy saving and emission reduction, environmental protection, a simple technological process, less equipment investment and high added values.
