The invention discloses a fusion localization method and system based on an ultrasonic beacon system. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining original coordinate information of a fixed beacon anda mobile beacon; according to the original coordinate information of the fixed beacon and the mobile beacon, obtaining original distance information between the fixed beacon and the mobile beacon; correcting the distance information by adopting a Kalman filtering method, so that corrected distance information is obtained; according to the original coordinate information of the fixed beacon and the corrected distance information, obtaining the real coordinate information of the mobile beacon; and uploading the real coordinate information to a client side through a modem. According to the fusion localization method and system based on the ultrasonic beacon system in the invention, for the measurement error due to non-line-of-sight propagation in practical application, ranging is optimized by adoption of the Kalman filtering method; the locating precision can be increased; simultaneously, data informatization is realized by adoption of a least square method; and the locating precision also can be further increased.
