The invention discloses a gas injection gas selection method and system for a fracture-cavity type oil reservoir, and the method comprises the steps: setting at least one gas selection dimension selection target for a target fracture-cavity type oil reservoir; determining oil reservoir characteristics of a target fracture-cavity type oil reservoir, and calculating dimension data of to-be-selectedgas corresponding to the at least one gas selection dimension under the oil reservoir characteristic condition; and according to the dimension data, selecting gas injection gas from to-be-selected gasaccording to the selection target. Therefore, according to the scheme provided by the invention, suitable gas injection gas can be selected for the target fracture-cavity type oil reservoir, so thatthe recovery ratio of the fracture-cavity type oil reservoir is improved.
