The invention discloses an augmented reality generation method and device. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring video data of target equipment through a mobile terminal; inputting the video data into a target detection model, and determining frame information and category information; determining attitude information and display data of the target device based on the frame information and the category information; performing scene fusion on the display data and the video data based on the attitude information; and displaying the image subjected to scene fusion on the mobile terminal. According to the augmented reality generation method and device, the power equipment can be identified and tracked in real time under various complex real scenes, and the equipment information is displayed on a mobile terminal of a worker.
