The invention provides an image forming apparatus, which comprises an image forming part and a reeling part. The image forming part comprises a toner image holding part, which holds a toner image; a transfer unit, which transfers the toner image held by the toner image holding part to a continuous recording medium; and a fixing unit, which fixes the transferred toner image on the recording medium.The reeling part reels the recording medium into a roller after fixing. The recording medium is upwards delivered from the transfer unit to the fixing unit. In the downstream of the fixing unit, therecording medium is delivered downwards, and the reeling part is positioned on a lower position compared with the image forming part.
