Provided is a solid composition for pest control by which labor for application can be saved and a high control effect can be achieved at a low application dose. The solid composition for pest control, which comprises a solution in which cyclaniliprole or a salt thereof and an anionic surfactant are dissolved in a polar solvent [component (1)], an oil-absorbing powder [component (2)] and a granular carrier [component (3)] (said anionic surfactant being described in the description), is characterized in that component (1) is absorbed by or adhered to component (2) and/or component (3).
