This technology relates to a control device, a control method, and a program which enable a user to obtain a bodily sensation related to imaging. A control device is provided with a processing unit for processing data based on pixel signals respectively outputted from a plurality of pixels, and a display control unit for displaying, as a through image on a display part, an image based on the dataprocessed by the processing unit, wherein the display part displays a mark indicating recording processing, together with the through image displayed on the display part, in accordance with an instruction to record the data. The mark is displayed at four corners of the display part. Moreover, the mark is displayed near an autofocus frame. This technology is applicable to an imaging device.
