The invention discloses a BIM-based method for automatically generating a landing cable path. The method comprises the steps that a BIM model related to a landing cable reconstruction project is formed, the GSD space data related to the BIM model is input, the boundary conditions of a cable path to be generated are set, and the optimal landing cable path is automatically generated according to theGSD space data in the BIM model and the boundary conditions of the cable path and the shortest line principle. According to the method, a plurality of floor cable transformation projects with mutualrestriction relations can be processed at the same time, the design and construction process is accelerated, the efficiency and accuracy are improved, the design cost is reduced, meanwhile, the increase of unnecessary construction period is avoided, and the method has a guiding effect on the overall line deployment of a specific city.
