The invention relates to a copper skin outer expansion type wound antenna and an application thereof. The copper skin outer expansion type wound antenna includes a wound antenna body, which is characterized in that the wound antenna body includes a coil portion and a pin portion; the coil portion is covered with a conductive copper skin; and the conductive copper skin extends to the outside of thewound antenna body. Compared with the prior art, the copper skin outer expansion type wound antenna can increase an antenna Q value and also expand a magnetic field radiation space.
