The invention discloses a two-level single-phase soft switch inverter circuit which comprises a bidirectional DC-DC circuit, a DC-AC inversion circuit and an auxiliary branch. Pulse signals of main and auxiliary switches are synchronized, a straight-through signal is added, extra resonance energy is provided for magnetizing an resonant inductor, thus, soft switching is realized in the total rangeunder different conditions in the power frequency period, the reverse recover current of an anti-parallel diode of the main switch can be inhibited effectively, the circuit is characterized by low voltage and current stress, low switching loss, high circuit efficiency and low EMI, and the circuit switching frequency and the system power density can be improved.
