The invention discloses an application and a product of dsRNA in potato beetle control, and relates to an application of a gene product in potato beetle control and a derivative product. The dsRNA product has strong stability, mature production technology and low cost, and is an effective cheap 'gene pesticide' product with strong specificity, green and environmental protection. The application ofthe dsRNA product in potato beetle control has great and far-reaching significance in potato beetle control. After a potato beetle pesticide is sprayed on leaves of potato plants at a low dose, the potted potato plants can continuously resist insects for more than 28 days, and the control effect reaches more than 80%; and under the outdoor strong ultraviolet condition, the potato beetle pesticidestill has a strong poisoning effect on potato beetles, the field prevention and control lasting period is about 3 weeks, and the prevention and control effect is gradually reduced from 50% to about 10%.
