The invention discloses high entropy grain boundary-modified nanocrystalline alloy powder and a preparation method thereof. The high entropy grain boundary-modified nanocrystalline alloy powder is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: 0.76 to 2.88 percent of Zr, 0.77 to 2.94 percent of Nb, 0.80 to 3.03 percent of Mo, 1.51 to 5.72 percent of Ta, and the balance of Ni. According to the high entropy grain boundary-modified nanocrystalline alloy powder and the preparation method thereof, alloy powder is subjected to nanocrystallization through a mechanical alloying method,and meanwhile, the nanocrystalline alloy powder is cured into a bulk material by adopting a plasma hot pressing sintering method, so that the purposes of improving the strength and the thermal stability of a material are achieved.
