The invention relates to the field of annular fuel assembly analysis, and discloses an annular fuel assembly calculation method and system so as to improve the calculation efficiency, effectively reduce the calculation process, reduce the calculation error rate, shorten the total calculation time and be easy and convenient to implement. The method comprises the steps that the annular fuel assemblyis divided with annular fuel rods as units, all components of the annular fuel rods are distinguished, and corresponding calculation modules are distributed to the components of the annular fuel rods; according to the calculation relation between the calculation modules, if the calculation results of the two calculation modules influence each other, it is considered that the two calculation modules are associated calculation modules, and otherwise, the two calculation modules are independent calculation modules; and carrying out serial calculation on the mutually associated calculation modules, carrying out parallel calculation on the mutually independent calculation modules until the performance of each part of the annular fuel rod is calculated, and carrying out parallel calculation onall the fuel rods.
