The invention relates to a rubber-containing composite engineering plastic. The rubber-containing composite engineering plastic comprises, by mass, 80-100 parts of high density polyethylene, 20-30 parts of low density polyethylene, 3-5 parts of organotin, 4-8 parts of a silane coupling agent, 2.5-3.5 parts of an anti-aging agent, 0.3-0.5 part of rubber, 0.6-1.2 parts of a styrene-maleic anhydridecopolymer, 0.4-0.8 part of mica powder, 0.1-0.3 part of nanometer magnesium hydroxide and 1-2 parts of tri-n-butylamine. The engineering plastic of the invention has the advantages of low density, high strength, low price and good insulation performance.
