The invention provides a power equipment inspection method based on infrared imaging remote temperature measurement, and relates to the field of electronic information engineering. The whole system iscomposed of a hardware part, a network channel and a control system, and the control system implements monitoring and management for the hardware part through the network channel. The hardware part includes an infrared camera and a power supply device, and the infrared camera works with low-power technologies such as wireless air wake-up and sleep listening. The power equipment inspection methodis high in expandability, can achieve a new technology and a new device are extended in a common remote video monitoring system and are equipped with a high-precision digital holder and an infrared temperature measurement imager to form a remote transformer substation automatic monitoring system integrated with video and temperature monitoring. The device configuration of the system can be increased and decreased according to different demands of a monitoring environment, the position of the camera is flexibly arranged according to different monitoring positions, and a monitoring center achieves that an electrical device belonging to the transformer substation performs real-time or timely and unfixed-point monitoring.
